- Heartwood: A distinct yellow color. Argentine Osage Orange maintain this color much better than domestic Osage Orange.
- Grain: Fine, sometimes has a wavy texture created by darker and lighter bands of yellow.
- Working Characteristics: Machines well and is an excellent turning stock.
