31981 and 34233 both come with vacuum generator, chuck head and chuck adapter kit.
Runs on 2.5 CFM compressor at 55 to 65 PSI.
6" diameter chuck head is made of fiberglass reinforced nylon and has a machined aluminum threaded collar for strength. Interchangeable “o” ring seals firmly hold the work.
Chuck adapter kit provides an easy method of attaching the vacuum chuck head to the lathe. Includes rotary bearing adapter with diaphragm seal, 18" L, 3/8" plated steel threaded rod, locking spindle adapter, and 4" L urethane vacuum hose.
Spindle extender (sold separately) makes it easier to work between the headstock and material. Provides extra room for tool use, sanding and finishing, and allows you to work on the back side of the project.
